Comrade Chinedu Opara, the candidate vying for the position of member representing Ngor Okpala in the Imo State House of Assembly under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has promised quality representation of the people of Ngor Okpala if voted into office in the forthcoming general election.
The former chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ngor Okpala chapter, a former councilor and until recently currently the editor of Nigeria Newspoint Newspaper told correspondents that it was not his intention to contest for the position for now until pressure started mounting on him from different groups in Ngor Okpala asking him to go and represent the people at State House of Assembly come 2019.
According to the Logara born journalist, Ngor Okpala has suffered greatly in the hands of leaders that have represented her in the past hence the need for a change, which prompted him to succumb to the pressure to run.

“I will focus more attention on private schools, petty traders, the youths and women in the area of empowerment. Private schools seen to have been forgotten by the state government and leaders of Ngor Okpala hence the need to empower them in the area of ICT and other school curricular activities, I will as well bring sports academy to Ngor Okpala with the intention to catch the children young from the ages of 10 to 15. I equally have the plan in my blue print to send Ngor Okpala Youths Overseas to acquire one skill or the other which they shall bring back to Ngor Okpala to enhance the development of the council”, he promised.
