I regret my neglect of Igbos, Middle belt, says Buhari …Promises 100% if returned in 2019

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that he would perform better if given another chance to return as president.
The president’s statement believed to have been prompted by the shout of marginalization and neglect by mostly the Igbo and Middle Beltans under his watch, was also aimed at re-assuring a group of Nigerian professionals based in the United States and Canada, of his readiness to make amends and do better than he has done in his current first tenure as president.
Buhari had reportedly assured the group during an interactive session on Thursday, of his determination to ensure that every vote courts during 2019 general elections. He said he has warned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and security agencies to ensure free and fair elections where every vote would count in 2019. Buhari also charged Nigerians in the diaspora to use their abundant talents to support the country.
