2019: “I will turn Imo to Cannaan Land”, says CAP guber flag bearer

Rev. Barr Ikenna Emmanuel, who dumped Young Democratic Party due to anomalies that arose has emerged the first Guber flag bearer in the state under Change Advocacy Party. Following unwelcome and uncomfortable development in his former party YDP, sources gathered that he decamped despite donating a party office and publicizing the party on print media, social media and on air. His new party CAP held their congress and primary held on 5th September 2018 with delegates from the 27 LGAs fully represented. The legal expert stated “When I become Imo Governor in 2019, I will turn Imo state into Canaan Land City in Otta.” He went ahead to state that he will build thriving satellite cities in the three senatorial zones of the state.
He promised that he will create a partnership for development and advancement between Imo State University and Covenant University, reputed to be one of the best universities in Africa. He also added that he will create same partnership with Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo and Landmark University of Agriculture for the purpose of agricultural development and revolution in the state. The Okigwe zone Governorship candidate runs with a vision of Human Dignity tripod vision as seen on his campaign organization website Leadership Revolution Organization.
The Mbano born UN Peace Ambassador vows to restore Human dignity, economic revamp and healthy standards in the state as seen in his various brief manifestos in different political gathering and activities of similarity. He astutely supports solution-centric politics, non-tokenism politics and people centered leadership.
