Nwanaforo empowers Ideato South women, youths

The Transition Committee chairman of Ideato South Local and the Chairman ALGON Imo State Chapter, Chief Hon. Victor Nwanaforo in his continuous efforts to better the lives of his people and as well emulate the governor Okorocha’s act of benevolence attitude towards the plight of the orphans and vulnerable children through the establishment of Rochas Foundation Colleges in so many cities in Nigeria and beyond has donated 10 brand new motorcycles to youths and women from the communities in the area.
Hon. Nwanaforo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), clarified that the activities of the foundation were not motivated by partisan politics, explaining that he was trying to plough back to a society that has assisted him to achieve his dream in life.
Represented by the director general of Igwebuike Campaign Organisation Hon. Jenick Emeka Ijeoma, Chief Nwanaforo who assured the people of Ideato South that the programme would be continuous one to enable more beneficiaries, according to him, the June, 2018, empowerment will be a greater.
He maintained that his foundation’s decision to engage in the empowerment scheme is being motivated by Governor Rochas Okorocha’s long years of charity and philanthropy to the less privileged members of the society who cut across political divide and reassured that he would continue to impact positively on the lives of youths and women in the local government through economic empowerment programmes and urged the people of the area to continue to support Governor Okorocha’s people-oriented programmes while calling for the people of the area to see the election of Chief Uche Nwosu as their only option of retaining all the good programmes of the Rescue Mission.
Also speaking, the chairman, planning committee of the event, Comrade Ikechukwu Obioha,thanked the donor, Chief Nwanaforo for his passionate towards the plight of the people as a well known philanthropist and a community leader. In his commendations, Hon obioha eulogies him and said, ” for us to achieve this fit transparency first of most,  we looked at the 27 autonomous communities we have in Ideato South and divided them into five zones. At the end of the day, two persons from each zone emerged and went home with the motorcycles. Chief Nwanaforo didn’t want it to be a campaign structure thing because deriving his inspiration from Governor Rochas Okorocha, he was of the belief that anybody that gets it irrespective of the person’s political party should be given and that was exactly what happened”, he said
He expressed happiness that both the beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries were happy because of the transparency that was deployed in giving out the motrcycles.
While thanking the donor for his magnanimity, Comrade Obioha reassured those who did not benefit from the day’s empowerment that more is yet to come next month.
He also assured Ideato South youths and women to stand firmly with Governor Owelle Rochas Anayo and Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, whom he described as the only hope of Ideato people.
Ideato South Coordinator of Imo Youth Council, Ohia Polycarp Ikenna commended the donor for his selfless service to humanity, saying that with the programme, a considerable number of our people would have been economically and financially empowered before the end of it.
While congratulating the beneficiaries, Ohia advised them to make judicious use of the motorbikes by using it to advance their lives and that of their family members, charging them to remain law abiding.
