I’ll consolidate on Okorocha’s achievement-Madumere

The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere says that as the number two person in the hierarchy of the Rescue mission government of Imo State, his ambition in the political dynamics of the state is to ensure that the Rescue Mission Work is consolidated and continued into the next dispensation. Prince Madumere made the clarification when a group of journalists under the aegis of Mbaitoli Association of Media practitioners paid him a courtesy visit in his office Monday. The deputy governor stressed that his duty is to defend Owelle Okorocha’s legacies. According to him, “my job is to defend the legacy of Owelle Rochas Okorocha. I am the number two rescuer in the state. My ambition is to ensure that the rescue work which my boss initiated, continues progressively and successfully. Owelle has done well and his achievement is enormous”. Prince Madumere expressed appreciation to the journalists for calling on him, adding, “you have done well. Your visit is a huge encouragement”.
Speaking on the politics in the state, Prince Madumere said the direction of events seems to be positively tilted toward his ideas and ideals pointing out that, “if you watch the movement of things in Imo State, you see that we are on course. The destiny of everyone is in his hands and in the hands of God”. The Deputy Governor debunked the notion that he is working in obverse direction with the governor, stressing, “I am not in the battle to rundown my “Oga” or smear the image of Uche Nwosu”.
Speaking earlier on the motive behind the courtesy visit, the chairman of the Mbaitoli Journalists Association, Comrade Emeka Iwuala called on the Deputy Governor to, “come and save Imo State from political and economic abyss”. Iwuala described him as possessing the requisite qualification and pedigree that will enable him perform effectively and successfully as a governor.
He described Prince Madumere as having comparative advantage and better vision for the state, adding, “we are in support of this vision till the end. Like Barak Obama, we say, “yes you can”.
