Imo Don with 36 Inventions eyes Douglas House

Imo born scientist and researcher, with 36 inventions Prof Alphonsius Ekwerike’s interest to occupy the state seat of power next year has continued to attract support and endorsement from across the state given his proven leadership capacity.

Among those who are rooting for the Harvard trained scientist are various Imo diaspora groups and associations based in USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Malaysia operating under the auspecies of Okigwe Zone Peoples World Congress and Owerri Zone Peoples World Congress both of which recently passed vote of confidence on him.

Speaking on why the two groups decided to throw their weight behind Prof Ekwerike, Dr Uzoigwe Anthony said they are convinced that the man is the right man for the job of salvaging the state owing to his wealth of experience and intellectual capacity garnered from many years of working in USA and other nations.

Also speaking, another diasporian Chief Isaac Nwokeocha said they decided to throw their weight behind him after due consultation and understanding of the type of governor Imo State needs at this critical time to redress the socio economic decadence in the state.

He recalled that his global impact was the key reason the federal government of Nigeria discovered and tapped him and appointed him into the  Para Athletic Federation of Nigeria PAFN, where he heads the very sensitive doping, welfare and medical committee.

Before he started nursing ambition to come and render services to the state prof Ekwerike over the years has had a decent track record in global leadership with so much results and benefits to his immediate employers and humanity at large.  In the process of striving to continue to impact humanity the Harvard trained scientist and researcher has been credited with over 38 inventions that have helped uplift humanity and make life easier and better for people around the world.

It is perhaps, due to his prodigious capacity which has seen him serve as diversity representative at Rowlett City, Texas USA and as legislative advocate to the US Congress, that prof Ekwerike’s interest is generating support from across the three zones of the state.
