The President of the preaching a sermon to mark Men’s Ministries in the 2016 Men’s Day Special the Assemblies of Church Service held at the God Church at No. 6 Bus Assemblies of God Church, Nop Umualum Nekede, No. 6 Bus Stop Umualum Deacon John Nwankwo has Nekede as mandated by the vised Christian Fathers to General Council, very steadfast in adering faithful services to God in order to attract simmense blessings and vine guidance in all their man endeavours. He also ged them to establish mily alters which will sist them in inculcating e fear of God in their ildren to sustain their iritual growth.
Deacon John Nwankwo ve this advice while Assemblies of God Nigeria. He cautioned Christian brethren to guard against anything that would distract them from worshiping God in spirit and in truth, stressing that professing Christians should always put God first in all their daily activities with a view to offering useful services to the church through their God given wealth, fervent prayers and aggressive evangelism.
Deacon John Nwankwo reminded Christians that they are strangers in this world, hence they should eschew secret sins, unforgiving spirit and other ungodly hypocritical activities. He further encouraged the Christian Fathers to fully dedicate their lives unto God through utilizing their God given talents in accomplishing outstanding exploits which will help to enhance the progressive development of the church and their respective families.
In his speech on the occasion, the Senior Pastor of the Church and a Presbyter in the Owerri District, Assemblies of God God Nigeria, Rev. Young Anego commended the Christian Fathers for their unity of purpose and positive commitment towards ensuring the huge success of the 2016 Special Men’s Day Church Service held in the Church in line with the mandate of the General Council, Assemblies of God Nigeria. He advised them to be fully committed in contributing their respective quota towards the progress of the Church and their respective families as the achievement of this goal will attract God’s blessings to enhance their spiritual and material well-being.
The Special Men’s Day Church Service featured special songs, recitations from the Holy Bible, drama displays, special men’s choir, joyous dance of the men with their wives and children among other good entertainments.
A former Governorship Candidate in Imo State, Elder (Dr) George O. Ibeatuche (JP) during this event acted as a Veteran Broadcaster in reading out his compiled news bulletin in the Igbo language to the great delight of the church congregation. The President of the Men’s Ministries. Deacon John Nwankwo later presented a cash donation on behalf of the Christian Fathers as their contribution to support the Church building project.
