The remains of late Ezinne Edna Nwaomiringonye Oguike has been laid to rest at her husband’s compound at Ulakwo, Owerri North Local Government Area, Imo state.
Late Ezinne Oguike who was buried on Thursday was the mother of one of the great member of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Imo state council, Comr. Athan Oguike.
In her biography, late Ezinne Oguike was found to be an easy going mother who always took care of her home and also a very serious Apostle of Christ until her death had remained a strong member of the Christ Anglican Church in Ulakwo and that earned her an award.
The biography further stated that the deceased person contributed meaningfully in the development of the church and also noted her as a woman with life of contentment and thankful for any kind gestures.
Speaking in the funeral ground, the deceased son, Comr. Athan Oguike has always wished that his beloved late mother lived a little longer above the age of 85years old.
According to Oguike, nevertheless, we shall forever remain grateful to God who granted her the octogenarian status; whatever we are doing today is therefore a send forth ceremony in honour of Ezinne Edna Nwaomiringonye Oguike.
