Biafra Day: MASSOB to Shut Down Schools, Markets, Banks, Others With ‘Special’ Sit-at-Home

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB has announced the shutting down of all markets, schools, public and private motor parks in the Southeast. The group led by Comrade Uchenna Madu says the southeast will be shut down on May 30, 2025. The move, according to a statement issued on Monday by its National Director of Information, Edeson Samuel, is to mark the 2025 Biafra Anniversary celebration.
