
The Sacred Cherubim And Seraphim Church of Nigeria, Mount of Victory Owerri Headquarters, No 1 Bus Stop Old Nekede, inline with its tradition has marked the Church’s Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving service showing gratitude to God for his infinite mercy and love upon the Church.
The celebration also featured a three day convention and Holy Hill with series of activities which include, Healing, Prophesy, Drama, Choir competition, ordination, Concentration of water especially for business men and women.
Speaking on the event, the Chief host and Provincial Chairman, Imo Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church, His Eminence, Snr, Elder Apostle Prophet Victory Kalu Onyemauchechukwu, said that the programme is a special service carried out annually for spiritual upliftment of the Church.
He also remarked that it is a spiritual gathering which is utilized by the faithful to draw closer to God.
The Senior Elder Apostle used the moment to advise members of the Church to be steadfast in following God’s principles by loving one another and obey constituted authorities.
“As believers of the Gospel, you should eschew rancour, bitterness and other actions that could be spiritually harmful to growth of faith among members .”he advised.
Apostle Kalu added that the Church also use the spiritual exercise to pray for the country especially its leaders in the State and at the National level, for divine wisdom to lead the nation aright.
His Grace, Elder Apostle Benjamin Ehirim while delivering the sermon, advised the brethren to use the event to increase their spiritual growth by living above the earthly gains and make Christ their focal point.
In his words, His Grace Senior Sup.Apst.prophet Victory Obodo advised the newly ordained who were promoted to various higher positions by the supreme leader of the Church world wide, His Eminence the most Elder Apostle Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao, to see their new position as a call to more service to the Church.
The event which took place at the church Headquarters in Owerri, Imo state was witnessed by the faithful from various branches and parishes in the State.
