A Non Governmental Organization, Okey Onyekanma Foundation has felicitated its founder and former deputy speaker of Imo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Okey Onyekanma, on his 50th birthday anniversary, describing him as a humanitarian philanthropist who has given good account of his 50 years on earth.
This was contained in a statement signed by Justice Chukwunatu Nwafor, the director of Media and Public Affairs and made available to journalists in Owerri, to mark the 50th birthday anniversary of the former deputy speaker of Imo state House of Assembly.
The statement rejoiced with Onyekanma for the good health of mind and body granted him by God all through these years, especially the grace to impact lives and the society.
Nwafor stated that Onyekanma’s life has been an inspirational story of resilience, courage, integrity and that of consistency in championing what he believes .
