Regional Manager of Prohealth HMO, South East Zone, Dr. Moses Odeghe, has commended Governor Hope Uzodinma for successfully hosting Imo Economic Summit, which he described as a world class.
Speaking during the grand finale of the event, Odeghe said the summit was not only well organized, but strategically positioned to transform the socio-economic landscape of Imo State.
He praised the Governor for attracting high-profile participants, investors, development partners and stakeholders from across the country and beyond, adding that the summit has set a bold agenda for economic revitalisation, investment attraction, infrastructural development and sustainable growth therein.
“The Governor deserves applause for this significant milestone. The Summit has showcased Imo to the world as a viable destination for investment. This is a major win for the state, its economy and the business community,” Odeghe noted.
He observed that the quality of discourse, presentations and business dialogues during the Summit demonstrated a clear roadmap for accelerated economic expansion, job creation and improved living standards for residents.
Odeghe highlighted a number of immediate and long-term gains from the Summit, including increased investor interest in key sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate and ICT.
He emphasized that the summit will improve confidence in the state’s economic policies and governance, creation of job opportunities for youths and professionals, enhances visibility for Imo as a safe and profitable business destination.
He stated that small and medium enterprises, SMEs across the state stand to benefit from new investment flows, market opportunities and government support initiatives.
