City Boy Movement Coordinator Applauds Seyi Tinubu’s Engagement with South East Business Leaders

In a bid to strengthen national cohesion and foster inclusive economic growth, Seyi Tinubu recently held a strategic meeting with prominent business leaders from the South East, led by celebrated entrepreneur Obi Cubana, an initiative that has earned commendation from the City Boy Movement in Imo State.

Speaking with journalists in Owerri on Thursday, the Movement’s Coordinator, Prince Francis Uzor, described the meeting as a laudable step toward bridging economic and political divides in the region.

He noted that Tinubu’s consistent engagement with key stakeholders reflects a commitment to peace, security, and economic revitalization in the South East, including the potential restoration of a functional seaport and the implementation of policies designed to stimulate regional development.

Uzor also lauded the Managing Director of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), Mark Okoye, for his visionary leadership in driving the economic transformation of the region and reconnecting it to the national political grid.

According to Uzor, “the renewed synergy between public and private sector leaders will accelerate investment, enhance infrastructural development, and restore confidence among the people of the South East in the nation’s collective progress.”
