The hospitality sector in Imo State got a boost recently as friends and business associates converged to witness the unveiling of a new hospitality facility, Hotel De Parafify at Ogbaku in Owerri West LGA in Imo
Speaking with our reporter, last Sunday,May 8 ,the Chief Executive Officer ,CEO, of the new establishment, Chief Emmanuel Ogbonna,(Omeiheukwu na Arochukwu Abia State) said that he is delighted to see his personal struggle come to fruition despite all challenges.
He remarked that it is a dream come through because nobody believed that it will come to be remembering how he started.
Ogbonna narrated that erecting the building was a difficult task but with consistency, determination and God on his side he was able to accomplish the twenty five years dream project.
He further said before he came to Owerri West LGA, the area was without light and road but that he was able to fix street solar lights, created the road hoping that such establishment will be established someday.
The hotel according to him, is a place of comfort and relaxation equipped with modern facilities and ever ready staff, ready to meet the customers’ need.
The CEO, added that he invested in Imo State because it has favoured him since the year 2000,when he stepped into the State, maintaining that he is happy,for his modicum achievements ,so far.
In the area of governance, he commended the State Governor,Sen. Hope Uzodinma on his efforts in creating reliable atmosphere for business activities to thrive.
” As the Chairman of Non Indigene Association in the State, I supported his re-election, I single handedly erected bill boards, campaigning for his second term bid because I believed in him.
“Governance is not easy and the governor needs everyone’s support, I pray that God helps him to fulfill the promises he made to the citizenry.” he said.
