No amount of gang-up can stop Ihedioha -Apitti Ndigbo

Former presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and senatorial candidate of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) in the February 23, 2019 Imo West (Orlu zone) senatorial election, Chief Bobby Tochukwu Ukadike has unequivocally, cautioned all litigants challenging the declaration of Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha as the winner of the 2019 Imo State governorship election by the independent national electoral commission (INEC) to place the collective interest of Imo State above their personal interests.
Speaking to news men in Owerri, Chief Bobby Ukadike, the Apitti Ndigbo who hails from Abba community of Nwangele local government area of Imo State observed that in every contest, there must be winners and losers, stressing that those who went into the governorship election with the sole belief that they must win acted in error as according to him, such candidates are too infantile in character to make a good governor.
He expressed the view that what the governor-elect, Emeka Ihedioha needed are ideas, advice, prayers and support to enable him gear up properly to rebuild a battered environment like Imo State and not any form of antagonism or gang-up.
According to the Apitti Ndigbo, the Almighty God and the people of Imo State having chosen Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha to lead the people of Imo State at this point in time, no amount of gang-up, legal battle or intrigues can stop him from taking the mantle of leadership as the next governor of Imo State.
“There is no way the 72 governorship candidates who vied for the number one political seat in Imo state could have become governor the same time. So, if those who have gone to electoral tribunal to stop Emeka Ihedioha from being inaugurated as the next governor of Imo state meant well for the state, they would act in a positive manner by withdrawing their cases from the court, Chief Ukadike stated.
Continuing, the FJP senatorial candidate for Imo West warned, “ In as much as I am appealing to the .litigants to sheathe their swords and co-operate with the governor-elect, I want to candidly remind them that Imo people are poised for a change and would never tolerate undue distractions and conducts based on self-centeredness”.
Meanwhile, the Aptti Ndigbo has given kudos to Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha for constituting what he called high-profile transition technical committee which according to him, is capable of drawing accurate road map for rebuilding Imo State.
