APC congress: Imo SGI urges members to be calm

Secretary to the Government of Imo state, SGI, Sir George Ezenna Eche has decried what he described as political brigandage and rascality the actions exhibited by a section of members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Imo state during the last Saturday’s party ward congresses who suddenly hijacked the sensitive materials for the exercise.

Eche who spoke at Obiangwu his country home in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State at about 6pm noted that until the time of filling the report, the sensitive materials for the conduct of the congresses were not found and the party officials responsible for the dispatch of the materials were equally nowhere to be found. Eche said he was shocked by the embarrassing roles played by the state chairman of the party, Chief Hillary Eke and other team members, describing it as riot only embarrassing hut shameful and an act of sabotage. He said their actions were malicious and injurious to the growth of the party and warned that no one can dwarf or enclave the pasty in the state.

The SGI who was visibly angry wondered the rationale and motives behind the act of hijacking the materials as well as whose interest those who hijacked the sensitive materials were protecting if not to create violence and discord when they were not necessary, insisting that their plans were have not been fully executed only that God exposed them on time, contending that there was no reason any good party man would give to justify bastard act. He submitted that it was perplexing that those who in recent past mocked members of APC and barbed them all sorts of names with severe threats including branding them “Boko Haram” simple because they joined in the forma ion of APC and bought into the ideology are now the ones wrecking havoc in the party. Eche identified them as political dogs who have eaten back their vomit, ad dim that those who hijacked the materials have no other plans than to hoodwink the entire party structure in the state in order to succeed in messing up the party, saying that it is their stock in trade.

He therefore urged party members in the state to remain calm as the matter have been taken to the appropriate quarters by the leader of the party and performing governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for necessary actions.
