Okeosisi FoundationAdvocates Economic Isu Youths’ welfare

A renowned philanthropist in Imo state,and founder of the Okeosisi Foundation,a humanitarian organisation in the state,Comr.Henry Ibejiuba,has reiterated the organisation’s commitment to aid in the upgrading of the living standards of youths in Isu Local Government Area of the state by way of job-creation,and the provision of social-basic amenities.
Speaking in an interactive session with journalists in his office in Owerri on Monday,Ibejiuba,who is also vying for the seat of Isu state-constituency on the platform of the Peoples’Democratic Party,PDP,in the Imo state House of Assembly in the awaited 2019 election,said that,he is driven by the will to assisting the needy and down-troden,especially,the youths,as one born of poor parental background in Isu LGA of the state.
According to him,he is aware of the plight of poor Imo youths in general,and Isu LGA in particular,noting with dismay that,youths of Isu LGA extraction in the state,who are born of poor parents pass through extreme rigours in meeting with the harsh economic realities,as the Okeosisi Foundation boss,advocated for more economic empowerment of the youths,as part of the global campaign to eradicate poverty.
Enumerating notable achievements by the Okeosisi Foundation to include;entrepreneurship training and skill acquisition scheme for Isu youths,provision of educational facilities and scholarships,sports and youth development,free health care-service delivery among others to upgrade the living standard of the people,especially,the youths of Isu LGA,and the state.
Ibejiuba however,posited that,if given the opportunity to represent the good people of Isu state-constituency in the Imo House of Assembly,come,2019,he will be encouraged to do more of his benevolence to better the living standards of the people.
The Isu state Assembly hopeful,who also,decried the poor state of roads,and decay on infrastructure in Isu LGA,as he informed that,his humanitarian deeds are not targeted at political gains.
