Adimchinaobi Agor needs N2.7m for cancer treatment …Solicits support from government, others

 

The Agor family of Umuororonjo, Owerri Municipal Council have cried out for financial assistance for the treatment of Master Adimchinaobi Agor aged 8 years who has been diagnosed of Leukemia (Cancer of the blood) by Dr. Iheanacho, a Consultant Pediatrician at Federal Medical Centre, Owerri.

According to the father, Mr. Kenneth Agor, the son who is a Primary Three Pupil of Excel Nursery/primary School stopped School since March 2016 because of his ill-health.

He stated that if untreated on time, the condition can lead to sudden death of the patient. He remarked that Master Adimchinaobi has been referred to University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Enugu for medical treatment which is estimated to cost N2.7 Million (Two Million, Seven Hundred Thousand Naira).

The father said the family has no financial capacity for the little Adimchinaobi to undergo the said treatment and in difficulty of raising the necessary money for the treatment so that he can live a normal life.

He appealed to State Government, spirited individuals, cooperate bodies and organizations for financial assistance for the treatment of little Adimchinaobi Agor at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Enugu.
