Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state, has set-up a committee to oversee  transparent and inclusiveness in the distribution of fertilizer for the 2025 farming season. The committee was to also ensure equitable distribution of fertilizer to farmers across the state. A Human Rights organization, Stand For Humanity Foundation has condemned the Thursday night provocative and barbaric killing of armless people in three communities of Umualoma,  Ndiakunwanta and Ndiejezie Arondizogu in the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.
