Princess  NJemanze-Neboh Reacts To  Amadi’s Note,Says It’s Belated

…Insists: Balkanization Destroyed Owerri’s Unity.

… Advise Uzodinma on Ekeukwu market till new Ozuruigbo emerges.

A renowned daughter of Owerre  Nshi Ise,Princess Stella Njemanze-Neboh has called out an indigene of Owerri , Barr Willie Amadi for his late call for a gathering to address the perceived anomalies or disturbing Socio-cultural developments in the community, likening the call to an after thought and coming rather quite late.

The daughter of Late Eze Alexius  Anumaku Njemanze (Ozuruigbo IV of Owerri), Princess Neboh  was reacting to a voice note in which Barr Willie Amadi called on well-meaning indigenes and elders of Owere Nchi ise to come together and speak out against the alleged actions of some individuals in Owere nchi ise whom he is  accusing  of presently masterminding the dissolution of youth bodies and collecting tolls, and dropping the governor, Hope Uzodinma’s  name in the process.

Princess Njemanze-Neboh lamented that she had  said a lot, written a lot and made several publications in which she drew attention to the way Owere Nshi ise was drifting, but regretted that some people did not see reasons with her.

She also insisted that the present situation in Owere nshi ise would not have been in its present situation if the same persons she described as “Owere balkanisers” had not allegedly supported the then governor,  Rochas Anayo  Okorocha in splitting Owerri into five autonomous communities, with five ezes allegedly “appointed” by Okorocha.

She wondered that Barr Amadi whom she fingered, as  being among those who  allegedly cheered and welcomed  the balkanisation of Owere nshi ise by the then Okorocha administration could turn round recently to talk about the anomalies going on in Owere Nshi ise in a voice  note.

“I have said it several times and will say it again, the evil that men do no longer lives after them, it now lives with them while on this earth.  We should be very careful what we wish and plan for others especially the Njemanzes for our gods can be very wicked and merciless when needed.

“I have written several articles on the evils of Balkanization and how it destroyed Owerre Nshi Ise; a peaceful, loving, and fun community.  I remember watching my late dad, HRM Eze Alexius Anumaku Njemanze Ozurigbo IV of Owerre work very hard to protect, defend, and fight for Owerre Nshi Ise so as to maintain a loving community.  He is definitely rolling over in his grave today.

“My late dad was not perfect nor was his successor ,HRM Eze Emmanuel Osuji Njemanze, Ozurigbo V of Owerre, but they both had one thing in common and that was protecting our union and keeping us together as one community.  They did a damn good job.

“Owerre Nshi Ise is suffering today because of all of you.  Remember, Owerre gods and ancestors are not very nice when provoked..,” Prince Njemanze-Neboh reminded.

On the issue of Ekeukwu market, Princess Mjemanze-Neboh appealed to Governor Hope Uzodinma not to negotiate or go into any agreement with those she said, are claiming to represent Owerre Nshi Ise, alleging that such people do not carry  Owerre people along.

“My Governor, please do not sign any agreement on our ancestral market with attorneys that never make out time to update Nde Owerre via a town hall meeting on any court cases, and they may take up to 40% of the profit if possible.  Do not negotiate with them until an Ozurigbo is crowned…,” Princess NJemanze-Neboh  pleaded.

Reacting to the call by Barr Amadi for a delegation of Owerre people to meet Imo governor over the goings on in the community, Princess NJemanze-Neboh, popularly called the peoples’ Princess urged Governor Uzodinma not to meet any such delegation.

“…Willie Amadi in his recorded message is recommending we send a delegation… to visit our Governor, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma to discuss Owerre affairs.  _Na Lie_ my Governor, do not meet with them.  They made this bed of thorns and must lay on it or change the bed sheets all by themselves.  Governor Uzodinma did not balkanize Owerre… The real Njemanzes abroad were raised not to back down in any fight.

She advised government appointees from Owerre to desist from creating any interim committees , disrupting youth bodies in the community.
