The Women’s Wing of He Reigns Chapel International Church, Umuori- Uratta in Owerri North LGA, Imo state on Sunday honoured an activist journalist,Comr Chidiebube Okeoma and a retired judge of the Imo State High Court, Florence Duruoha-Igwe.
Also honoured were Lolo Lulu Njoku, CEO, Priceless Stores and Dr Mrs Dorathy Mirikwe who is the acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Development, Imo state.
The resident Pastor, Chinedu Nnadi, said that the awardees were carefully chosen by the Women’s ministry of church because of their outstanding services to humanity.
Pastor Nnadi hailed Okeoma for being a strong voice to the voiceless and for using his platforms to advance humanity.
The cleric said that Justice Duruoha- Igwe was an incorruptible juriest, extolling Lolo Lulu Njoku and Dr Dorothy Mirikwe for being compassionate individuals.
In their separate speeches, the awardees reinstated their commitments for a better society.
The award ceremony was by the highlights of the 2025 Mothers Day celebration of the church.
