ORLU ASSEMBLY: Nwadike Moves To Reclaim Stollen Mandate, As Court Orders INEC, Allow Him Inspect Election Materials

…Campaign team vows to get back  victory from APC

Following the rape of Democracy in Imo state which saw APC purportedly sweeping all the House of Assembly positions in the 27 Local Government Areas of the  state,the Candidate of Labour Party for Orlu State Constituency,Comrade Precious Nwadike has not only applied to have the declaration of the APC  candidate,Barr Ikenna Ihezuo as purported winner of the election reviewed,he also appraoched the election tribunal sitting in Owerri through  an exparte motion to allow him inspect all the materials used in conduct of the said election on March 18.

 

Nwadike through his Lawyer,Barr GC Opara in Suit Number;EPT/IM/M17/2023 moved the motion on Saturday,March 18,2023  which was granted.

 

The Court ordered INEC to ensure that every material used for conduct of election in Orlu LGA be made available to the Labour Party candidate without any delay.

With this development,Nwadike’s  legal team and his campaign organization are now at will to inspect the materials used for the purpose of the said election.

There have been speculations in different quarters that the Resident Electoral Commssioner,REC, in charge of Imo state,Prof. Sylvia Agu is working hard with APC government to perfect the alleged fraud the duo perpetrated  during the elections to give credibility to the exercise  which is said to has been roundly  condemned by every  Imolite.

 

Investigation gathered that the wards in  Orsu clan of Orlu LGA where elections did not take place,APC compromised the electoral officer,one Blessing to generate results for those areas without using Bimodal Voters Acreditation System,BIVAS.

 

INEC had declared Barr Ikenna Ihezuo winner despite stiff opposition by the electorate and other parties on  the grounds that APC didn’t win the  election in Orlu.

 

The election officer, EO,Mr Blessing who it was  gathered allegedly  got comprised by the  APC to announce results in areas where voting didn’t take place.
