Celebration Of Life: Pa Nwosu Laid To Rest, August 18

The serene Community of Ezeoke Nsu in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo State will on Thursday, August 18, 2022 bid their departed illustrious son, late Pa. Nze Charles Nzurike Nwosu (aka CNN) farewell to eternity.

Chief Nwosu who holds the traditional chieftaincy title of Ogbueshiweitte II of his Community was called home to eternity at the age of 104 years.

Speaking to newsmen recently, one of the sons of the departed icon, Mr Ogugua Nwosu described his late father as a man of peace who applied the tenets of christianity in all his dealings with people during his lifetime.

He disclosed that Pa Nwosu was a successful palm produce merchant in the present Rumukurushu, Portharcourt in Rivers State before the Nigeria Civil War broke out and  truncated the enterprise adding that after the civil war his late father  became a big yam trader at the famous Oriagu market until his retirement from active business.

Mr Ogugua used the opportunity to invite his kinsmen of Umuduruehie Ezeoke Nsu resident at home and abroad, inlaws, friends and well wishers to join them to give their late father a befitting burial which funeral church service will be  held at St Paul’s Cathedral Church, Ezeoke Nsu by 10am on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

It was gathered that the late Pa Nwosu  was the eldest of the Nwosu Nwadigo Nwelue dynasty at the time of his demise and is survived by 4 sons, 4 daughters many grand children, brothers and sisters.
