SIT AT HOME: A TOTAL SHUT DOWN IN IMO STATE.

Transportation and Commercial activities on Monday April 4th 2022 were shut down in IMO State.

In Owerri metropolis also movements of goods and services were closed Over the sit-at-home order. It was gathered that the shop, banks, and super market along the streets of Owerri-Okigwe, IMSU junction roads were all shut down.

Also affected areas were the Wethedral road, Ikenegbu road and Egbu roads no commercial activities in these areas.
Schools were all closed down, transportation companies, mainly along the Egbu road all closed shop.

Residents who spoke to newsmen said they decided to stay home for fear of being attacked.

“We can’t come out because the killings are much these boys are angry they can kill at any time since they warned that nobody should come then you better respect yourself and stay at home”
