Okwara urges APC South-East senatorial candidates to win polls

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Livinus Okwara has urged all senatorial candidates of the party to try and win their seats, more so now that the position of the senate president has been zoned to the South-East.
According to him, winning the election would predisposed them to clinching the senate president’s seat. He canceled them not to allow a replay of the event of 2015.
Speaking with newsmen in Owerri, Imo State, weekend, Chief Okwara said the seat was zoned to the South-East since 2015 but owing to the fact that the region did not produce a senator or even a ranking one on the platform of the APC, it had to miss the opportunity.
The CEO of Rimax Computers said occupying senate president’s seat would help the South-East to clinch the presidency, come 2023.
The Ideato South LG-born politician regretted the non-utilization of the numerous opportunities given to the South-East by the people. He pledged to mobilize youths against the senatorial candidates of APC extraction if they failed to sweep the polls.
