PRP chair reacts on sabotage, misinformation on IPAC…Disassociates self from such report

The Executive Chairman of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Imo State Chapter Hon Peter Okafor has frowned on the publication in front page of Announcer Newspaper dated 25th January 2019 Credited to One Maximus Munonye and his co-cohort thus: “Onykachi Duru Remains suspended, Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) Insists.
The state chairman of PRP while addressing Journalists in Owerri on the issue described the purported publication as sabotage, falsehood, pointing out that it is quiet disturbing that Announcer Newspaper can published such misleading information and made them to understand that Munonye’s stock in trade is to blackmail people and caused confusion in order to defraud innocent candidates of political parties.
Hon Okafor noted that his aware of investigative journalism where journalists balance their stories before publishing rather the editor of Announcer thrown caution to the wind and went ahead to dance round the market square.
On issue that he was a secretary of the purported illegal disciplinary committee, Hon Okafor made it clear that him and members of PRP disassociate themselves from such unprofessional publication and will take the legitimate measure within the law to challenge the unguided publication, pointing out that in all ramification his not part and will never be part of the childish purported publication to remove the Executive chairman of IPAC.
He used the opportunity to reaffirmed the total commitment of members of PRP on the election of IPAC on November 6th 2018 that produce Hon Onyekachi Benneth Duru as IPAC chairman and warned all Newspaper publishers, editors to desist from publishing stories without proper verification from the constituted authority.
