Bora lauds Uzodinma intervention in Imo Asssembly Leadership Tussle

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State, Comrade Izuchukwu Okebaram has lauded Gov Hope Uzodinma on his prompt father like intervention in the recent leadership tussle that flared up in the Imo State House of Assembly.
He also expressed great joy and satisfaction that a seasoned, experienced and vibrant legislator Rt Hon Kennedy Ibeh was overwhelmingly elected the new speaker of the House.
The former state chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW Imo State Council, who fielded question from journalists in Owerri, at the weekend explained that the expert manner the governor handled the issue, spoke volumes about his proactive and sensitive leadership attributes.
He pointed out that the governor as a discerning leader very much keen on delivering good governance to Imo people in a peaceful, secure and conducive atmosphere, correctively understood the negative implications inherent in the tussle hence his speedy intervention.
Comrade Okebaram posited that it was only a leader with charisma, influence and inspirational mien like Gov Uzodinma, that could have doused inflamed passion effortlessly as he did, stressing that deserves to be patted on the back for once again showing class in leadership.
He urged the the members of the house to borrow a leaf from the governor, close ranks and rise to the demand and expectation of Imo electorate by making good laws to help the governor in his avowed determination to govern well.
The Isiala Mbano born grassroots mobilizer and strategist was also full of praises for the lawmakers for their vision and informed decision to elect Rt Hon Kennedy Ibeh as their new speaker.
Expressing implicit confidence in the capacity and ability of Rt Hon Ibe to shift the paradigm and place the house on the path of vibrancy and productivity, Comrade Okebaram enjoined him to put the past behind and restore unity and peace to the house in the interest of the 3R adminstration and state.
