Umahi swears in Ebonyi’s 5th substantive Chief Judge, Commissioner

The Ebonyi state Governor Engr Dave UMAHI yesterday at the prestigious Christian Ecumenical centre Abakaliki swore in justice Elvis Ngene as the substantive Chief judge of Ebonyi state, this is sequel to the retirement of the former Chief Judge justice Anselm Nwigwe last Thursday. By this swearing in justice Ngene becomes the fifth substantive Chief Judge of Ebonyi state.

The Governor also used the occasion to swear in Bar.Onyekachi Nwaebonyi as a member of the state executive council even as he was given the portfolio of commissioner for capital city .The new chief judge expressed gratitude to God and the  thanked the Governor for his appointing and promised to do his best.

The newly sworn in commissioner who until last Friday was the people’s Democratic party PDP chairman in Ebonyi state, promised not to let the governor down.
