Owerri Reps: Ikpeazu’s brother dumps him for Achogbuo …Says: It’s owerri West’s turn

The elder brother of Hon. Dan Ikpeazu former house member that represented Owerri North Constituency from 2011 to 2015, Chief George Ikpeazu has distanced himself from his younger brother’s (Dan) ambition of contesting the Federal House of Representatives under Social Democratic Party (SDP) to represent Owerri Federal Constituency in Abuja. He allegedly took the decision over what he called over zealousness and greed, insisted it was the turn Owerri West LGA to have their shot at the green chamber in compliance to the gentlemanly agreement that favours rotational representation for the federal constituency seat.
Chief Ikpeazu who is known generally as a person who believes in the truth and hardly shift from it no matter the circumstances, made it very clear at the ongoing intensive campaign rally of Hon. Barr. Ben Achogbuo’s on the plat form of APGA for the soul of Owerri Federal constituency.
He insisted it was the turn of Owerri west people to produce their own for the federal seat, and would be supported by the people of Owerri North and municipal on the premise that, Owerri North is the present occupant of the seat in the person of Hon. Ezeanwa Francis Onyewuchi who is serving out his second tenure, even though he is presently running for the senatorial seat, for Owerri zone.
Ikepazu, who expressed dismay and worried over his younger brother’s, ambition (Hon. Dan Ikpeazu) to continue in the race, said he defiled all advises to decline his ambition but wondered why a dog would go back to its vomit after vomiting, indicating that he was part of the rotational agreement.
The candidate who resides in United States of America with his family told the delighted people at the rally that he returned home specifically to participate in the election and to support his friend Hon. Solicited Ben Achogbuo, whom he described as an incorruptible personality.
He advised the people against voting on the wrong side, but should vote for Ben Achogbuo, and APGA all the wall.
According to him, arrangement for the Federal zoning gave birth to the present emergency of Owerri North persons that emerged as senatorial candidates for Owerri zone, in APGA in the person of chief Mike Nwachukwu, while Ezenwa Onyewuchi is the custodian of the zones ticket for PDP and expressed confident with such balancing.
He admonished the people of the Federal constituency to be more concern with the quality of those jostling to represent them at the hallow chamber of the National Assembly, noting that Hon. Ben Achogbuo stands as the best candidate for the job because of his experience in administrative matter and judicial processes and cannot spare out to bring the dividends of democracy to the Ndi Owerri.
Also contributing, Hon Stanley Anebere from Owerri Municipal, told the delighted audience that his constituency people have agreed and settled for an Owerri West person to represent them; adding that those who have insisted to run against Ben Achogbuo will not succeed, because they were in the race for their selfish interest and therefore have nothing to offer.
He said, Obinna Mbata, who flags the flag of APC, GAS in accord and Elezianya have all been elected or appointed into positions of authority, but failed to use their position to make any impact into the people, and wondered what they can do now, while calling on the APGA faithful as well the people to get it right this time with solicitor Ben Achogbuo, so that Owerri will witness development.
He added that, Owerri federal constituency needs a man with proven track record and integrity, a man whose names are synonymous to achievement, who cherishes human capacity building, and not someone that empowers the people with the so called keke and motorcycles.
We called them to come out massively to vote for Ben Achogbuo and Mike Nwachukwu for Owerri Federal Constituency and Owerri senatorial zone respectively this Saturday, 16th of February 2019.
