Imolites mock, boo Nwosu at “send Down Your Glory” gospel crusade

Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, former All Progressives Congress, APC governorship aspirant who decamped to a new party, Action Alliance, AA and apparently is struggling to be its standard bearer for 2019 Imo governorship election allegedly received showers of humiliation from Imo people at the music crusade organized by the Assemblies of God Church, Owerri, at the weekend.
Ugwumba Nwosu, who represented Gov Rochas Okorocha and was accompanied by his wife, and deputy governorship candidate and Speaker Imo House of Assembly, Hon Acho Ihim received shocking and humiliating reception from worshippers who angrily grumbled openly when his presence was acknowledged at the event.
The people went further to reject his using the little time given to him to address the congregation by allegedly making jest of him and singing a dismissing song”away”.
Ugwumba Nwosu it was learnt however displayed maturity and and understanding and tried calming nerves of the crowd who were prevented from coming closer to the stage by the ushers by declaring that he came from a Christian home and therefore knows what it means to serve God adding that it was that reason that prompted him to without hesitation agree to come and represent the governor at the event.
He further cited the book of Malachi 3vs10 that some people would go through the door and attempt to block it adding that by God’s grace he will come back to the event in 2019 as governor of the state.
