Disregard election debate fraud of expired Cttee, Imo journalists warn politicians.

Members of the Nigeria Union Journalists, NUJ Imo Council have warned political parties candidates and other individuals who may want to be part of a fraud being packaged in the name of election debate by an illegitimate group masquerading as NUJ executive to desist from doing so.
The council members who strongly faulted and condemned the election debate fraud being championed by some elements under the guise of Imo NUJ caretaker committee made it abundantly clear that the body is unconstitutional, illegal and therefore is indulging in illegality to dupe and scam unsuspecting candidates, parties and individuals.
According to them the fact the the unscrupulous elements lack legitimacy being an illegal contraption means they do not have the mandate of Imo NUJ and journalists in the state to organize political debate.
In addition to candidates vying for elective offices, NUJ members called on Prof Maurice Iwu and other proposed guest lecturers to stay away from the illegal contraption to avoid denting their image through participating in the discredited election debate.
