Orlu Senate: Akubueze vows to industrialize Zone

One of the foremost aspirants for the senate seat of Imo West (Orlu Zone) in the National Assembly com 2019, Engr. Ikenna Akubueze, has vowed to uplift the standard of living of people of the area, if chosen to represent the zone in 2019. Speaking during a sensitization visit to people of the zone, weekend Engr. Akubueze lamented that the zone which is blessed with abundant natural resources including oil and gas have been left to suffer in neglect and deprivation because of inept representation and lack of vision and vowed to attract oil, gas and chemical plants to the area in addition to hydroelectric station to boost electricity supply in the area.
Engr. Akubueze who is a civil fellow of chartered civil engineer of United Kingdom explained that already, he has drawn a blue print that would facilitate the establishment of grain mills starch production industry, fruit and vegetable oil processing factories in addition to ceramic industry in order to provide employment to people of the area and enhance their standard of living. He stressed the need for people of the area to support him in the effort to turn the fortune of the area around and bring prosperity to the people by rejecting those who have no good projects for them.
The aspirants who is the Director and Consulting limited and Network Impact Specialist Manager said that is elected senator for Orlu zone, he will join hands with the people to restructure and regenerate current infrastructures while new ones would be added to serve the people.
He warned against voters apathy as it would not be beneficial or favourable to continue to allow a system which shuts out millions of people of the zone from benefitting from their God-given resources.
According to the Orlu zone senate aspirant, “people of the area need an economy that is buoyant, better jobs, decent schools and good health care; printing out that indigenes of the area are guaranteed a better future if he becomes the next senator.
